November 29 Update

For the seven-day period between 11/21-11/27/21 a total of 21 Gunnison County residents tested positive for COVID-19. Throughout the course of the pandemic, we have seen artificial declines in case rates in the period immediately before and after holidays. In the past, these declines in the reported data did not reflect real conditions of transmission in the community.

November 22 Update

During the seven-day period between 11/13-11/20/21 COVID-19 cases doubled in Gunnison County. In that time frame, 66 local residents tested positive while 69 total cases were identified in Gunnison County.

November 15th Update

Over the course of the last two weeks, Gunnison County has seen an average of 31 cases amongst local residents. These weekly totals come after case counts in the low 20s throughout the first few weeks of October.

For the seven-day period between 10/17/21 – 10/24/21 there were 20 Gunnison County residents who tested positive for COVID-19. Overall, case rates in Gunnison County continue to decline.

For the seven-day period between 10/10/21 – 10/17/21 there were 28 Gunnison County residents who tested positive for COVID-19 accounting for all positive tests. This is a decline from the week prior and is holding on a relatively stable trend locally.
