New Positives

We had four new positive results today from individuals who were tested over the last 5 days. One had an out of county address who now lives here and is being counted in our total. The individual had been traveling prior to their positive test. Two are asymptomatic pre-surgery screenings. One is an asymptomatic result from contact tracing. It is clear that the virus remains in our community. Please self report symptoms, isolate, and seek testing if you suspect you might be sick.

Public Meeting

We ran another public zoom meeting on Monday, 6/22 at 2:30 to talk about a contact tracing app. A copy of the presentation slides can be found here. A recording of the presentation is available here.

For next week, 6/29, we will be talking about plans for Western Colorado University and the Gunnison Watershed School District fall schedule. Sign up ahead of time for the zoom webinar here. We will also be live streaming the meeting onto Gunnison County Health and Human Services Facebook page.

Importance of Self-Reporting

One of the best tools to provide early warnings of spread in the community is to self-report as symptomatic. If you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, even if they are mild, please self-report and isolate yourself.
