Potential Changes at the State
The Governor has indicated a few changes that we can expect over the coming days. He has said that starting tomorrow, restaurants can operate at 50% capacity. Locally, our variance allowed restaurants at 25% over this last weekend and then we will follow the state’s guidance at 50% starting tomorrow, 5/27. Locally, restaurants are defined as any food establishment with a full-service food license AND a fully functioning kitchen.
The governor has also indicated that he will likely extend the Safer-at-Home orders through to June 1st. Our lodging and other businesses will still be allowed to open. While we are not encouraging travel to the area, we don’t want to put the impetus on businesses to distinguish between necessary travelers and tourists. They will be able to accept guests.

Importance of Self-Reporting
One of the best tools to provide early warnings of spread in the community is to self-report as symptomatic. If you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, even if they are mild, please self-report and isolate yourself.
