Please self-report if you have any symptoms or have overcome your symptoms.

Screening Site

Beginning next week, the screening site will be moving to a different schedule.

Monday from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM in Crested Butte

Wednesday from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM in Gunnison

Friday testing will be by appointment only.

We have seen a decrease in the number of screenings at the testing site. We are hoping to give the staff a bit of a break in anticipation of a larger scale testing of the community in the future.

Science and Research Team

We have put together a group with a background in epidemiology, health care, and statistics who are reviewing our data and modeling what our future looks like. We have thus far plateaued the impacts on our hospital at a manageable level. This team will be looking to specific dance steps of relaxing restrictions that do not put us back into a growth phase of the disease in our community. Later this week, we will post a presentation by Dr. Hannah Heinrich on some of their findings.

Center for Mental Health

The Center for Mental Health has a free talk line that is open 24 hours per day at 970-252-6220.

Grocery and prescription delivery 7 days per week

While the Call Center (970-641-7660) is not operating on weekends, the Delivery Assistance Hotline is.

If you are at risk and self-isolating at home, ill with Covid-19 symptoms, or quarantined and need groceries or prescriptions delivered to your home; call (970) 641-7959. Deliveries are by drivers trained to safely handle your order and are available throughout the valley, 7 days a week, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Self-Report as Resolved

At 4:17 PM we had 319 previously symptomatic people reporting that their symptoms had resolved.

RECOVERY defined as resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications for 72 hours and improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath); and, at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared. If your symptoms have resolved, please fill out the following form.

By the Numbers

As of 4:45 PM, we have 100 positive, 194 negative, and 16 pending tests. This document is updated live with that information.

COVID-19 Transfers To-Date from 3/18/2020 17 4:35 PM 4/14

Our to date transfers went up not because of transfers today, rather because of an update in what we are reporting as a COVID-19 transfer. For instance, a couple were sent out to another facility for reasons unrelated to COVID-19. These patients subsequently were tested positive at another facility.

We are working towards a new Google Data Studio that will reflect all of our numbers in live updated graphs. We hope to launch by this week.
